MATHRIGHTNOW.COM™ is more than just a vast database of mathematics questions. It is a website where parents can take an active role in the mathematics education of their children.

Many parents at times may feel a sense of frustration when their children ask them for help with their math homework or test preparation. The topics studied in today's math classes are not quite the same as those studied in the past. Some topics have been added, while some have been removed from the curriculum. Many parents may have forgotten some, or most of the material they themselves covered in their own math classes and thus find it difficult to assist their children with their coursework. MathRightNow.com seeks to bridge this gap to help parents help their children.

Each of the hundreds of topics covered in our database is accompanied by a short lesson which reviews the important concepts, definitions and procedures which are vital to the comprehension of that topic. Parents can view this lesson with or without their child and use this review to help their child practice solving problems chosen from that topic.

MATHRIGHTNOW.COM™ also allows students and parents to keep track of their performance. Each time a student creates a practice-problem set or test, the results of that assessment are stored in the student's own personal folder. Each assessment in the student's folder will contain information about that assessment including a score and the topics covered. Parents who are concerned with whether or not their child is prepared for a classroom or standardized test, can create a test containing the topics to be tested and have their child take it in a timed (or untimed) setting. The results of this “practice” test should serve as a good indicator of whether or not their child is prepared for their real test.
